About The Event:

National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), Government of India jointly with Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), Ministry of Environment & Forests (MoEF), Petroleum & Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB), Government of India, Directorate of Factories & Boilers and State Pollution Control Boards of Various States are organizing a Conference on “Technology, Capacity Development, Disaster Risk Reduction of Hazardous Industries, Ports and Storages of Petroleum, Petroleum Products & Natural Gas", November 11 - 13, 2013 at The Residency Towers, Sir Thyagaraya Road, Chennai

The main focus of the proposed conference and exhibition would be to make industry globally safe by better emergency planning of accidents – onsite, offsite including isolated storages. The conference would also provide a platform to Indian and International companies to share their success stories, best practices and technologies to minimize accidents on production site and during transportation of chemicals, hazardous wastes and hydrocarbons. Technical sessions on Automotive, Engineering, Rubber, Pharma, Bulk Drug, Biomedical Industries have been included in the programme. The conference will provide opportunity of hands on training & capacity development of on-site and off-site responders, medics, paramedics during emergencies.
